    Treadaway is a high-touch fractional brand management, design and strategy firm based in Chicago, IL. We work with people and companies who want to build strong, relational, and flexible brands that stand the test of time. Our work is specialized and tailored from one-off projects to long-term partnerships. We take the work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves seriously.

    Internship Description

    The Digital Marketing Intern will assist in a wide range of projects both for the company and for the company’s clients. The intern will work independently and remotely, on a flexible schedule, with regular check-ins/support and an expectation of results and deliverables within set deadlines.

    Internship Responsibilities

    • Editing and proofreading content to ensure consistency with various brand voices

    • Strategize and create content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

    • Create, write captions, and design (from pre-existing templates) for social media posts

    • Audit client sites and make design and copy update recommendations

    • Prepare email marketing blasts for announcements, events, sales, etc.

    • Provide input for creative marketing strategies and social media campaigns

    Intern Qualifications

    • Excellent written communication skills

    • Intermediate design skills (Canva is fine, Figma and Adobe preferred)

    • Ability to adapt to various brand voices

    • Strong grasp of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

    • Ability to hit deadlines and balance multiple projects while working remotely

    • Working toward a college degree (Junior or Senior) in a related field
